| Katriona Campbell | Scotland | Hi Helen & John, Sorry this is a bit late (stayed at the hostel in feb), just a short message to thank you for my wee route planner down the east coast, it worked a treat & I managed to fit in everything i wanted. A bit of feedback for you. As you said the oz bus was just hop on/ hop off & it worked out really well, made life a bit easier. The whitsundays 'adventurer' boat was amazing, nice & chilled, nice group number (12 of us), the crew were great & the food was delish, would definately recommend. The Fraser island trip was definately one of my highlights, was such a good laugh & especially loved driving the 4 wheel drive. I also stopped of at 1770, Noosa & Byron just to name a few but I had a brillliant time & met loads of folk. I cant think of anything else at the moment, i'm in n.z now which is just brilliant. I actually just left Cairns today, and as soon as I stepped off the plane in Brisbane I wanted to turn around and come back to Cairns/Travellers Oasis! | Guy, Darren & Jon (x3) | England | Absolutely lovely hostel that lives up to it's name- it really is an Oasis with a chilled out atmosphere and it offers more than everything you need. We never give reviews for places but we enjoyed our stay here so much that we felt we had to. It's the first place we've stayed on our tour of Australia and it's set a really high benchmark! | Steven Fletcher | England | What a lovely friendly Hostel the staff are helpfull and have extensive knowledge of all excursions etc. The hostel is incredibly clean and spacious the rooms are fantastic with no bunks just single beds (well in the room I stayed in), it even feels like a bedroom rather than any other dorm.
